Summary:
This position is responsible for the coordination of activities of the shipping and receiving department.
The position is responsible for ensuring daily activities are performed to meet customer requirements as it relates to incoming and outgoing product.
This position is responsible for receiving shipments from outside vendors and shipping product to the customer on-time, to standards, and at the lowest possible cost.
Essential Job Functions:
This position verifies quantity and descriptions of products, responsible for shipping product to customers and is responsible to provide all shipping documents as well as maintains the Epicor system for shipments and receivables.
Ability to receives, count, and record all items shipped to Micromatic per purchase orders to outside vendors.
Ability to check and verify goods and maintains receivables in the Epicor system.
Ability to paint, box, and ship product to for outgoing logistics.
Ability to count, record, and ship product per customer sales orders.
Ability to manage factory workorders and material outsourced for vendor operations.
Other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions:
Ability to check with vendors on supplies or missing parts as the need arises.
Must have a working knowledge of shipping forms and work instructions.
Education:
High School or equivalent Experience Knowledge of company policy and procedure as they relate to the receiving and shipment of materials.
Mandatory Qualification Requirements:
The physical attributes to do the job and the ability to lift at least 50#.
Must have the ability to perform all functions as required by the job/position.
Must possess good communication skills for internal and external customer/vendor/supplier interface.
Non-mandatory Qualification Requirements:
Previous experience in shipping/receiving Epicor computer experience Good verbal and written skills Blueprint reading and interpretation is a plus Job Type:
